Philadelphia-born Questlove, drummer for the Roots, has co-led the group with Black Thought since 1987. As a producer, author, and DJ, he's gained acclaim for directing "Summer of Soul," earning an Oscar. The Roots became Jimmy Fallon’s house band, enhancing his hip-hop ambassador status.
