David Tao

Born in Hong Kong to Taiwanese entertainers, David Tao is the "Godfather of Mandarin R&B," pioneering a blend of R&B and hard rock in Mandopop. He popularized the genre and is known for hits like "Love Can," "Airport in 10:30," and "Melody." A recipient of six Golden Melody Awards, he has collaborated with artists such as Jolin Tsai.
