Dazy and Narrow Head

Narrow Head, a rock band formed in Dallas, Texas in 2013 and later based in Houston, is known for pioneering the "grungegaze" genre. Their sound blends alternative metal, shoegaze, and post-hardcore, characterized by thick, fuzzy guitar riffs and melancholic melodies. Notable albums include "Satisfaction," "12th House Rock," and "Moments of Clarity." Popular songs include "Nodding Off" and "Gearhead." The band is recognized for its immersive soundscapes and energetic live performances.

Dazy is the solo noise pop and alternative rock project of Richmond, Virginia-based musician and multi-instrumentalist James Goodson. Formed in 2020 as a home-recording bedroom project during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dazy is known for a signature sound that blends big pop hooks and catchy melodies with thick, fuzzed-out guitar distortion and thumping drum machines. After releasing a prolific string of independent singles and EPs compiled on the 2021 anthology MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD: The First 24 Songs, Goodson signed to Lame-O Records and released his critically acclaimed debut full-length album, OUTOFBODY, in late 2022.
