De Andre Canta De Andre and Cristiano De André

Born in 1962 in Genoa, Italian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cristiano De André formed I Tempi Duri in the early ’80s (1982 album Chiamali Tempi Duri) before a solo career, debuting with Cristiano De André (1987) and albums Sul Confine and Scaramante.

De André canta De André is a celebrated tribute project by Cristiano De André, son of the legendary Italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André. Originating in 2009, it features Cristiano's authentic interpretations of his father's timeless folk, rock, and progressive rock masterpieces. Known for his multi-instrumental talent, Cristiano has released successful live albums like "De André canta De André" (2009) and "Vol. 2" (2010), continuing to honor a profound musical legacy.
