Nation of Language, an indie pop, synthpop, and post-punk band from Brooklyn, formed in 2016. Known for their melancholic electro-pop and 1980s nostalgia, they create evocative, synth-driven soundscapes. Albums include Introduction, Presence, A Way Forward, Strange Disciple, and Dance Called Memory. Strange Disciple was a Rough Trade Album of the Year. They made a television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
