Deichkind, formed in 1997 by German friends Philipp Grütering, Malte Pittner, and Buddy Buxbaum, is known for its humorous style and controversial themes. Hits like "Bon Voyage" and "Leider Geil" have achieved gold status, and slogans from their lyrics have entered common parlance in German-speaking countries. Despite lineup changes, they've released acclaimed albums such as "Arbeit Nervt." They actively engage in social debates, notably on refugee policies, under their label Sultan Günther Music.
