BABYMETAL is a Japanese kawaii metal band formed in Tokyo in 2010. Pioneers of the genre, they fuse heavy metal with J-pop idol music. The current lineup features Su-metal, Moametal, and Momometal. Known for hits like "Gimme Chocolate!!" and "Megitsune," they are currently touring globally with festival appearances and released new music in 2026.
