Detroit-born Fred Hammond is a renowned gospel artist known for his soul-stirring vocals, superb arranging, and songwriting skills. Active since the '80s, he joined Commissioned and launched a successful solo career in 1991. Hammond has topped Billboard's gospel chart with albums like "Pages of Life" and "I Will Trust," winning Dove and Stellar awards. A prolific collaborator, he's worked with the Williams Brothers, Yolanda Adams, and Israel & New Breed, leaving a significant mark in contemporary gospel music.
Marvin Sapp, from Grand Rapids, MI, launched a successful solo career post-Commissioned with Fred Hammond. Known for melding gospel with R&B, his hits like "Thirsty" won multiple Dove, BET awards, & 11 Grammy nods. Sapp's albums include chart-toppers "Here I Am" & "I Win."
