Digable Planets are a jazz-rap trio formed in the early ’90s by Butterfly (Brooklyn), Ladybug (Silver Springs, MD) and Doodlebug (Philadelphia). Their 1993 debut Reachin’ went Top 20 with “Rebirth of Slick” and won a Grammy; 1994’s Blowout Comb followed.

Seattle native Kassa Overall is a Grammy-nominated drummer, emcee, singer and producer blending jazz, hip-hop and avant-garde experimentation. He’s released six mixtapes/albums including I Think I’m Good, ANIMALS and CREAM, and has toured with Jon Batiste and Vijay Iyer.
