Colette Marino, known as DJ Colette, is a Chicago-born DJ, singer, and songwriter. A landmark figure in American Dance Music, she pioneered integrating live vocals into her house music DJ sets. Her albums include "Hypnotized," which featured the Billboard No. 1 hit "What Will She Do for Love." She is also a founding member of the Superjane collective and has collaborated with artists like Kaskade. Colette is recognized for her soulful pop and deep Chicago house sound.

Chicago-born Derrick Carter, a key figure in '90s house music, started DJing at 9. Known for hits like "Love Me Right," he later founded labels Blue Cucaracha and Classic, and remixed for Tortoise.
