Jan Delay, born Jan Eißfeldt in Hamburg, is known for his reggae style and distinctive voice. A co-founder of the hip-hop group Beginner, he achieved fame with "Liebes Lied" and toured with the Beastie Boys. Under his reggae alias, Jan Delay released "Searching for the Jan Soul Rebels" and the fan-favorite "Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Soul." He also founded the influential label Eimsbush.
