Salt is a Swedish alternative rock trio formed in 1992, consisting of singer-songwriter and guitarist Nina Ramsby, bassist Daniel Ewerman, and drummer Jim Tegman. The band emerged from an informal jamming circle among art school friends and gained recognition with their 1995 debut album, Auscultate. They are known for their indie rock and post-grunge sound, with lyrics written primarily in English to emphasize melodic and poetic qualities.
