The Monument, a 500,000 sq ft multi-purpose complex in downtown Rapid City, SD, opened in 1977 with an Elvis Presley concert and underwent a major expansion in 2021. Its flagship Summit Arena offers a 10,000-seat capacity for major concerts and hosts diverse events, including sports, rodeos, and theatrical performances across its multiple venues, serving the entire Black Hills Region.
