Drupi, born in Pavia, Italy, is a romantic balladeer known for his hit "Vado Via," which reached #17 on UK charts in 1974. Successful solo songs include "Rimani" and "Piccola e Fragile." He won the San Remo Festival, and his work inspired covers by the Loud Family, New Seekers, and Frida. Initially performed with Italian rock band The Magnets.
