Born in Providence, Rhode Island, saxophonist Scott Hamilton is renowned for his warm tone and pre-bebop style. Known for albums like "Swinging Young Scott" and collaborations with Benny Goodman, Harry Allen, and Bucky Pizzarelli, he has earned a Grammy nomination for "Soft Lights & Sweet Music." He's worked extensively with Concord Records and settled in Italy, where he continues to preserve jazz traditions.
