The Eagles formed in Los Angeles in the early 1970s, featuring Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bernie Leadon, and Randy Meisner. They're known for their country-rock style, iconic songs like "Hotel California," and massive albums like Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975). Key collaborations include playing with Linda Ronstadt. The band faced lineup changes, but members like Joe Walsh helped maintain their success. They reunited in 1994, secured their Rock & Roll Hall of Fame spot in 1998, and continued touring post-Glenn Frey's 2016 death with his son Deacon joining the group.
