Ebi, born in Tehran, is a renowned Iranian singer known for his warm baritone voice, ballads, and political songs. Starting with the band Sun Boys, he later joined Black Cats before pursuing a solo career. Hits "Thirst," "Why?" and "Night" launched him to fame. After the 1979 Iranian revolution, he moved to California, releasing 13 albums and performing at venues like the Sydney Opera House. He collaborated with poets and composers such as Iraj Jannati Ataee and Varoujan, working with labels Avang and Caltex Records. His music often touches on patriotism and social issues.
