Darvaza is an international black metal project from Italy and Norway, formed in 2015. The duo, vocalist Wraath and multi-instrumentalist Omega, crafts pure, ritualistic black metal with a deep, sinister atmosphere, known for its orthodox style, lo-fi production, and hypnotic riffs. Notable albums include "Ascending Into Perdition" and "We Are Him". Both members are recognized for extensive contributions to other extreme metal projects.

Shining, originating from Oslo, Norway in 1999, is celebrated for its genre-defying sound. Led by Jørgen Munkeby, the band pioneered "Blackjazz," blending avant-garde metal, jazz fusion, and progressive rock. Known for pushing musical boundaries, they have earned multiple accolades, including two Alarm Prizes and a Spellemannprisen for "Innovator of the year."
