Truss, the alias of British techno producer Tom Russell, is recognized for his dark, atmospheric, and industrial techno. Emerging in the early 2010s, his music features driving rhythms and repetitive patterns, creating an immersive experience. He has released acclaimed EPs and albums on labels like Perc Trax, Dilek Records, and Tectonic. Truss is also part of the project Overmono with his brother Ed Russell and has collaborated with artists like Perc. He is known for his intense live performances.
