Emei, born Emily Li in New Jersey, is a Los Angeles-based alternative pop musician. Known for her raw lyrical honesty and infectious pop hooks, she blends alt-pop with a singer-songwriter style. Emei gained recognition after placing third on Chinese Idol. Her popular songs include "Late to the Party," "Scatterbrain," and "SUNNYD" (with Whethan).
