Detroit-raised Endea Owens is an Emmy, Grammy, and Peabody Award-winning jazz bassist, composer, and bandleader. Known for her vibrant fusion of jazz, soul, and gospel, she leads The Cookout and has performed with Wynton Marsalis and Jon Batiste. Her albums include "Feel Good Music" and "Caught Up In This Illusion." She is also a member of The Late Show's house band, Stay Human.

New Orleans-born, NYC-based pianist and composer Sullivan Fortner is an award-winning post-bop jazz artist. He won the 2015 Cole Porter Fellowship in Jazz and debuted on Impulse! with Aria, later releasing Moments Preserved and Solo Game.
