Long Island, NY-born rock singer Eric Martin formed 415 in San Francisco, later the Eric Martin Band (Elektra), releasing Sucker for a Pretty Face (1983). Best known as Mr. Big’s lead singer, scoring hits like “To Be With You” and “Just Take My Heart.”

Mr. Big

Mr. Big, formed in 1988 by Billy Sheehan, Paul Gilbert, Pat Torpey, and Eric Martin, is a pop metal band known for virtuosity and hits like "To Be with You." They achieved success in Japan, saw lineup changes with Richie Kotzen, and reunited in 2009, releasing albums like "What If" and "Defying Gravity".
