Ettore Fioravanti and Markus Stockhausen

Born in Cologne, Germany, Markus Stockhausen is a renowned trumpeter and composer known for jazz, classical, and modern music. Son of Karlheinz Stockhausen, he's collaborated with Arild Andersen, Florian Weber, and others, and performed with prestigious groups like the London Sinfonietta and Metropole Orkest. Stockhausen won the 1981 Deutscher Musikwettbewerb and 2005 WDR Jazz Prize. Albums include his ECM debut Aparis and Spaces & Spheres. He's co-led groups with Tara Bouman and was pivotal in the Stockhausen/Weber duo.
