Troubadour Presents.. PHOEBE GREEN + EVE SIMPSON + DAN'S PEOPLE
"Phoebe Green is an independent alternative pop artist based in Manchester, her work exploring themes of nostalgia, introspection, reinvention and the complexities of the human experience. Over industrial beats that reflect Manchester’s musical past paired with soaring, evocative synths, Green creates music that soundtracks the current moment, mundane or life-altering. Phoebe’s music has been lauded by the likes of Pitchfork, NME, The FADER, Rolling Stone UK, The Times, The Observer, Crack Magazine, CLASH, The Line Of Best Fit, Dork, DIY and more, all of which has resulted in over 20 million streams to date. Elsewhere, Phoebe's music has featured on the soundtrack to 2026 film Finding Emily, Disney+ series Extraordinary, BBC One’s Waterloo Road, Netflix show Geek Girls, with a previous feature on BBC One series Killing Eve."
North East-rooted artist Eve Simpson crafts prog pop-folk with soaring vocals, classic vibrato, and unfiltered songwriting. For fans of Tori Amos, Portishead, Fiona Apple, and Kate Bush, her music is both deeply intimate and boldly expansive. Over more than a decade of live performance, Eve has progressed from early collaborations with Kathryn Tickell to headlining UK tours and performing at renowned events including Celtic Connections, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and London Fashion Week. Beyond the stage, Eve champions songwriting as a shared experience, inviting audiences into a world that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant. Eve’s debut single is due for release this November, and her debut album will be released next year via Dark Horse Songs Limited.
Dan's People are a sharp four-piece Indie Pop band from Wales. Combining Dan's hauntingly beautiful lyrics with soaring four-part harmonies, acoustic guitar and heavy fuzz bass solos— they are fast gaining a cult like following in the Welsh festival circuit. Dan's People have recently been awarded BBC Launchpad funding to finish their keenly awaited debut album "The Visitors", which was recorded by Mickel Ross on location in an old Rectory in Wales and the world-renowned Lucky Recording Studios in San Francisco. Dan's People return each year to drummer Gemini's Californian roots and have played the iconic Hotel Utah in San Francisco, Pappy and Harriet's (Joshua Tree Desert), Heavenly Funk Festival (Santa Cruz) and the Elephant in the Room (Sonoma County). With Dan on lead guitar and vocals, Gemini as co-vocalist and drummer, Jenny on Mellotron, flute, tambourine and vocals and Max on the fuzzy bass and vocals- enjoy the unique sound of Dan's People. In Summer 2026 expect to 'dance as hard as you weep' with Dan's People at The Laugharne Weekend, All Roads, and Down on the Farm (more TBA) as they build up to their album launch.
