Formed in New Orleans in 1985, Exhorder are an influential thrash-and-groove metal band led by vocalist Kyle Thomas. Their debut Slaughter in the Vatican (1990) and follow-up The Law (1992) helped shape the “Louisiana sound.”

Skinlab

Skinlab is an alternative metal band formed in San Francisco in September 1995 by Steev Esquivel and Mike Roberts. Signed to Century Media after heavy demo tapes, they released Bound, Gagged and Blindfolded (1997), Eyesore EP (1998), Disembody: The New Flesh (1999), and Revolting Room (2002).
