Matthew's journey began at age 3 with a keyboard gift. He's a versatile artist, starring in the Emmy-nominated “About Tomorrow” and scoring the film “Starkeisha.” A disability advocate, he consults on accessibility while captivating audiences on shows like Ellen and 60 Minutes. With three albums, he collaborates with Derrick Hodge, Ray Chew, and others. A three-time ASCAP Herb Alpert Award winner, he's Musical Director for "Billy Strayhorn: Something to Live For."
Joey Alexander, born in Bali, Indonesia, is a jazz pianist known for his improvisational style. His albums have topped Billboard charts and earned three GRAMMY nominations. Moving to NYC in 2013, he performed at the Jazz at Lincoln Center Gala and with Wayne Shorter and Esperanza Spalding at the White House. He's collaborated with musicians like Larry Grenadier and Chris Potter, and featured in 60 Minutes and The New York Times.
Jazz pianist Christian Sands, born in New Haven, is known for his post-bop style. A protégé of Billy Taylor, Sands gained acclaim with Grammy and Kennedy Center performances. He released albums like Reach and Be Water, and collaborated with Christian McBride, Lou Donaldson, and Marcus Strickland. Notable works include Christmas Stories with Stefon Harris.
