LineUp

Decibel Metal & Beer Fest, inaugurated in 2017 by Decibel Magazine, is renowned as the world's loudest, heaviest, and most extreme craft beer festival. Originating from the magazine's dedication to extreme music and its craft beer column, the event unites diverse metal genres with a curated selection of craft breweries, offering a unique fusion for enthusiasts.
Darkest Hour, from Washington, DC, blend punk/hardcore with melodic death metal. Pioneers of American metalcore, they’ve released 9 albums, toured globally, and featured in films and games. Members include Mike Schleibaum (guitar) and John Henry (vocals).
Formed in Alexandria, Virginia, Pig Destroyer is a pioneering grindcore band known for intense tracks like "Prowler in the Yard." Signed to Relapse, they evolved from noisy grindcore to experimenting with doom and sound collages. Collaborations include splits with bands like Orchid and Converge. Key members include Scott Hull and J.R. Hayes, with standout albums such as "Terrifyer" and "Head Cage," featuring their first bass player.
Maul, hailing from the Midwest, blend death metal with hardcore and sludge/doom elements. Renowned for intense touring, their album "In the Jaws of Bereavement" is out via 20 Buck Spin Records. The band features Anthony Lamb, Garrett Alvarado, Robby Anderson, Mike Griggs, Alex Nikolas, and Josh Sanborn.
EXODUS, hailing from the Bay Area, are thrash metal icons known for their intense and versatile music. They've released albums like "Bonded By Blood," collaborated with Andy Sneap, and remain masters of the genre.
