Formed in New Orleans in 1988 by guitarist Jimmy Bower with vocalist Michael IX Williams, EYEHATEGOD pioneered a harsh sludge-punk sound. Known for albums In the Name of Suffering, Take as Needed for Pain and Dopesick.

Flesh Parade

New Orleans grindcore/death metal vets since 1990; broke out with 1991 demo “Meathook,” signed to Relapse (1997 “Kill Whitey” EP), and hit hard with 2010 LP “Dirty Sweet.”
