Born from the glam metal scene, Faster Pussycat hit it big with the gold album "Wake Me When It's Over" & Top 40 hit "House of Pain". Known for their Sleazy Hollywood style, they formed in 1987. After splitting, lead singer Taime Downe started the Newlydeads. The band later reunited for tours.

The band has released additional material, including "Demos & Live" (2024) and singles like "Living Like There's No Tomorrow" (2025).
