Fea is an all-women Chicana punk rock band formed in San Antonio, Texas in 2014 by drummer Phanie Diaz and bassist Jenn Alva following the departure of their former group, Girl in a Coma. Completed by lead vocalist Letty Martinez and guitarist Shelly Webster, the quartet is known for their aggressive, melodic, and bilingual riot grrrl sound that addresses feminist and societal issues. Signed to Joan Jett's Blackheart Records, they have earned critical acclaim from outlets like NPR and released studio albums including their self-titled debut and No Novelties.
