Fiona Grond, a Swiss jazz vocalist and composer from Zurich, creates introspective, melody-loving chamber jazz. Known for her distinctive voice and experimental sound, she leads the trio "Interspaces" (albums "Interspaces," "Poesias") and a duo with Luca Zambito. Her achievements include the Leonard and Ida Wolf Memorial Prize and the Jazz Prize of the City of Halle. She has collaborated with Bobby McFerrin and the New York Voices.
