Fireside Collective, born in Asheville, is an eclectic jam band blending newgrass, rock, and funk. Original members include Joe Cicero, Jesse Iaquinto, Tommy Maher, and Carson White. Inspired by The Grateful Dead, they've evolved with improvisation and diverse genres.

The Dirty Grass Players from Baltimore blend traditional bluegrass with fiery improvisation. Known for toe-tapping sets featuring bluegrass, Allman Brothers, and more, they were 2017's Charm City Bluegrass Festival winners. Members include Connor Murray (bass), Sam Guthridge (banjo), Ben Kolakowski (guitar), and Ryan Rogers (mandolin).
