Flor de Toloache and Las Cafeteras

Flor de Toloache, New York City's first all-women Mariachi, won a Latin Grammy and is Grammy-nominated. Founded in 2008, they're led by Mireya I. Ramos and Shae Fiol. With diverse roots from Mexico to the U.S., they mix traditional and modern Mariachi, earning titles like "alt-Mariachi" from Rolling Stone. Born from LA street protests, Las Cafeteras blends Cumbia, Punk, Hip-Hop, and Afro-Mexican sounds. Known for electric performances worldwide; albums include "It's Time" and "Tastes Like LA."
