Hellmut Hattler, born in Ulm, West Germany, is a German jazz and rock bassist and composer. A co-founder of Kraan, his style blends Krautrock, fusion, electronic music, and nu-jazz, known for his distinctive bass. He earned an ECHO Award for "No Eats Yes". Hattler collaborated with Tina Turner and leads his project Hattler, which released "Sundae".
