Formula 3, an Italian progressive rock band formed in Milan in 1969, gained fame for their psychedelic and hard-rock sound. Produced by Lucio Battisti, they scored hits like "Eppur mi son scordato di te" and "Io ritorno solo." The trio, known for guitar/organ interplay, also participated in the Sanremo Music Festival and received an award at the International Festival of Rio De Janeiro.
