Foxing with The Hotelier and Emperor X

The Hotelier is an American indie rock and emo band from Worcester, Massachusetts, formed in 2009. Known for their emotionally charged sound and introspective lyrics, they rose to prominence as leaders in the emo revival. Their acclaimed 2014 album, Home, Like Noplace Is There, is considered an essential emo album and features popular songs like "Your Deep Rest." They have performed at festivals such as Pitchfork Music Festival, being the first emo band to do so. Their discography also includes It Never Goes Out (2011) and Goodness (2016).

Florida-born indie folk artist Emperor X (Chad R. Matheny) is known for quirky, surreal lyrics and lo-fi sound. Legally blind, he tours widely, blending folk and experimental styles.
