Lime was a Montreal electronic disco band from the early 1980s, made up of husband-and-wife duo Denis and Denyse LePage. Best known for #1 US Billboard Disco-chart hit Your Love and the 1982 album Lime II with Baby, We're Gonna Love Tonight.
Born and raised in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City, Puerto Rican singer Lisa Velez (Lisa Lisa) fronted Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam. Produced by Full Force, she broke out with “I Wonder If I Take You Home” and the platinum album Spanish Fly.
Miami-born freestyle vocalist Trinere helped popularize hybrid post-disco club music with Pretty Tony. She debuted in 1984 with “I Know You Love Me” and scored Top 15 Billboard club hits including “I’ll Be All You Ever Need.”
