Founded in 2015 by musician Mario Mitchell, purplehearts is a genre-blending project mixing melodic rock, alternative, industrial, hip-hop and electronic elements. Breakout “Freak Show Society” (The Dark Carnival EP, 2016) led to a 2019 Gathering of the Juggalos performance.

The Purple Hearts

They toured with Secret Affair and released a series of albums. Despite chart struggles, they reunited for concerts, leaving an indelible mark on Mod culture.
