Fruit Bats is an indie folk-rock project led by Chicago songwriter Eric D. Johnson. Starting as a four-track recording, it grew into a touring band and released Sub Pop albums like Spelled in Bones and Tripper (Top 15 Heatseekers), plus Merge’s Gold Past Life.

Welsh multi-instrumentalist from Cardiff, now based in Brighton, England. She plays moody American Primitive-style originals on guitar and banjo. Signed to Tompkins Square in 2017; debut single Sometimes There’s Blood and album You Never Were Much of a Dancer.
