His album "Playa Negra," co-produced with Ruben Samama, features unique "Postapocalyptic Latin music" and mythic characters from literature. Known for turning love's dark moments into musical narratives, Ríos transforms Cuban son and Puerto Rican salsa into innovative rhythms and spaces.
