Austin, Texas-born guitarist/vocalist Gary Clark Jr. blends blues-rock with funk, hard rock, and hip-hop. His 2012 major-label debut Blak and Blu hit the Top Ten and won a Grammy for “Please Come Home”; later albums include This Land and JPEG RAW.
Cody Matlock is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Calhoun, Georgia. Raised in Atlanta’s music scene, he gravitated to blues, performing in local bars and clubs as a teen. Known for heartfelt guitar work and powerful vocals, he’s collaborated with Atlanta music veterans.

Following his first Grammy Award win in 2014 for Best Traditional R&B Performance for "Please Come Home" from his debut album Blak and Blu, Gary Clark Jr. established himself as one of modern music's most influential artists. His subsequent albums, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim and the critically acclaimed This Land, further elevated his global profile, earning widespread praise, multiple Grammy Awards, and a No. 6 debut on the Billboard 200. A sought-after live performer, Clark has appeared on major television programs, headlined renowned festivals and venues worldwide, and shared stages with The Rolling Stones. His collaborations span an impressive roster of artists including Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Foo Fighters, and Eric Clapton. With four Grammy Awards to his name, Clark continued his artistic evolution with the release of JPEG RAW in March 2024 via Warner Records.

Event Information & Policies

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of cellphones, cameras, or recording devices will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their belongings at all times and can access their phones throughout the event at designated Phone Use Areas in the venue. All phones will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the event space. Anyone seen using a non-permitted device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue. Guests are encouraged to bring a credit card for purchases inside the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

Guests under the age of 6 are not allowed at this DPAC performance. All guests require a ticket, regardless of age.
