Texas singer-songwriter who began in the 1960s with the Fabulous Sparkles and later the Lost Gonzo Band. Played bass for Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, and Michael Martin Murphy. Wrote Austin City Limits theme "London Homesick Blues" and released It's a Texas Thing (2000).
