LineUp

Descartes a Kant, known for blending retro-futuristic rock with soulful melodies, explores emotional isolation and creation cycles in their conceptual, award-winning album After Destruction.
Gene Loves Jezebel, formed by Welsh twins Jay and Michael Aston, is a goth-influenced band known for "Jealous," their highest-charting U.S. single. Major albums include "Promise" and "Discover." They collaborated with musicians like John Cale. Over the years, lineup changes included notable members like guitarist James Stevenson. The Aston brothers eventually split, each touring with their versions of the band, leading to a legal settlement over the name. Jay's group released "Dance Underwater" in 2017.
Christian Death, founded by Rozz Williams in L.A., 1979, pioneered American goth rock with provocative themes. Known for "Only Theatre of Pain," "Catastrophe Ballet," and shocking visuals, they split into factions led by Williams and Valor Kand. They influenced goth, metal, and industrial scenes, collaborating with Superheroines' Eva O. and Rikk Agnew. Despite inner conflicts and criticism, their style blended goth, punk, and heavy metal, securing their legacy.
