Gene Loves Jezebel, formed by Welsh twins Jay and Michael Aston, is a goth-influenced band known for "Jealous," their highest-charting U.S. single. Major albums include "Promise" and "Discover." They collaborated with musicians like John Cale. Over the years, lineup changes included notable members like guitarist James Stevenson. The Aston brothers eventually split, each touring with their versions of the band, leading to a legal settlement over the name. Jay's group released "Dance Underwater" in 2017.

Slim Jim Phantom, born James McDonnell in Brooklyn, NY, is famed for his standing drumming style with a minimalist kit. As a Stray Cats member, he popularized rockabilly with hits like Built for Speed. Post-breakup, he formed Phantom, Rocker & Slick, 13 Cats, the Head Cat, and more, collaborating with icons like Dave Edmunds and Lemmy Kilmister. He even ventured briefly into acting. Phantom continues to perform and document his music journey, publishing his autobiography, *A Stray Cat Struts*.
