Parliament Funkadelic

Parliament-Funkadelic, formed in Plainfield, New Jersey, pioneered funk and psychedelic rock. Led by George Clinton, they are known for their innovative sound, elaborate stage shows, and hits like "Give Up the Funk" and "Flash Light". Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and recipients of a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, their influence on music is immense. Albums include "Medicaid Fraud Dogg".

George Clinton, born in Kannapolis, NC, is the legendary funk pioneer behind Parliament and Funkadelic. Known for iconic songs like "Atomic Dog," he was a key influence on hip-hop and collaborated with artists such as Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar. Clinton’s live shows were monumental, earning him a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
