Fredl Fesl and Gery Gerspitzer

Fredl Fesl (Alfred Raimund Fesl), born July 7, 1947, in Grafenau, Bavaria, and passed away June 25, 2024, was a Lower Bavarian musician and singer. He is widely considered the inventor of Bavarian musical Kabarett, known for his "Bavarian and melancomical songs" in dialect. His style blended folk music with humorous, subtle lyrics and puns. Fesl played guitar, tuba, trumpet, and piano. Popular songs include "Der Königsjodler" and "Anlass-Jodler." He was also a two-time Upper Bavarian Junior Weightlifting Champion.
