Gilla Band

Gilla Band, an Irish post-punk and noise rock band from Dublin (formed 2011), is known for abrasive, deconstructed soundscapes, blending distortion, electronics, and surreal lyrics. Acclaimed albums include "Holding Hands with Jamie" (2015), "The Talkies" (2019), and "Most Normal" (2022). Popular songs feature "Lawman" and "Backwash". The band changed from Girl Band in 2021 to promote inclusivity, influencing the Irish music scene.
