Formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona, Gin Blossoms broke into the pop charts with “Hey Jealousy” and “Found Out About You.” Their major-label debut New Miserable Experience (1992) went quadruple platinum; “Follow You Down” hit the Hot 100 Top 10.

Vertical Horizon

Formed in 1991 at Georgetown University, Vertical Horizon evolved from a folk-based acoustic duo into pop/rock. Their 1999 RCA debut Everything You Want went double platinum, led by the number one title track. Neil Peart guested on later albums.
