Atlanta-based folksinger Shawn Mullins, known for his Grammy-nominated hit "Lullaby," mixed folk and Americana styles. A former U.S. Army Infantry member, he founded his own label, releasing successful albums like Soul's Core, which went platinum. He collaborated with Zac Brown Band, co-writing their hit "Toes." He worked with labels like Columbia and Vanguard, delivering albums such as 9th Ward Pickin' Parlor and My Stupid Heart.
Glen Phillips, born in California, is best known as the lead of alt-rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket, famous for hits like "All I Want." He pursued a successful solo career, collaborating with Nickel Creek and others. His introspective lyrics feature in solo albums such as "Abulum" and "Winter Pays for Summer." Phillips also formed supergroup Works Progress Administration. Toad reunited in 2013 with the album "New Constellation." His 2022 solo album is "There Is So Much Here."
