Glenn Hughes and Deep Purple

Deep Purple, formed in Hertford, England in 1968, are pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal. Known for iconic hits like "Smoke on the Water" and "Highway Star," they've influenced generations. The current lineup features Ian Gillan, Ian Paice, Roger Glover, Don Airey, and Simon McBride. The legendary band continues to record, having released "=1" in 2024, and is preparing a new album for 2026 while actively touring worldwide.

English rock vocalist and bassist Glenn Hughes, known as "The Voice of Rock," gained fame with Trapeze, Deep Purple, and Black Country Communion. A Rock Hall inductee.
